In some situations, the checkout application will inform you that there are unconfirmed card payment transactions in the checkout. This is because there may have been a malfunction in the connection between the POS application and the payment terminal in the middle of an active card payment transaction. This does not always mean that the customer's payment card has not been charged, but that the POS application has no information whether the payment has been charged or not.

1. When there are unconfirmed card payment transactions in the checkout, the app will warn you with the red flashing App options drag handle. The drag handle appears on the left side of the screen when the checkout is active.

• Swipe from the left edge of the screen to the centre
• Select Unverified card payments, which appears at the top of the Options menu. The Unconfirmed screen will appear under the Transaction History.
• Select the Check button to the left of the unconfirmed transaction.
• The card payment terminal will start checking the processed transactions, the operation may take up to more than 10sec.
• Once the check is done, the cashier will display the results of the operation on the screen.
• If the transaction is successful, the cashier will allow you to print a receipt or close the window. The payment transaction will also appear in the transaction history. If the transaction has failed, the cashier will only allow you to close the window. In this case, the payment should be attempted again.
• Exit the screen and resume normal use of the cashier.
