The "Stock products" tab is where you manage your company's stock products. Stock items are physical products in your warehouse that can be combined into different recipes that are used by the products you sell.

• Select Add a new stock product.
• Enter the SKU code, the name of the stock item, the base unit, the size of the bulk pack, the size of the inner pack and the price of the base unit, i.e. how much the purchase price of 1 base unit is. Correct marking of the different packaging sizes facilitates inventory and delivery recording.
• If you want the quantity of the stock product in question to be editable in the inventory, select ”Product to be inventoried”.
• Click Save changes.
  You can also edit existing stock products by clicking the Edit button behind the stock product.
  You can also delete stock items by pressing the Delete button behind the stock item.
  Example: add a stock product ice cream. SKU code: 001. Name: ice cream. Base unit: litre. Size of bulk pack 3 (litres). Size of inner pack: 1 (litre). Price per basic unit 3.00€. Product to be inventoried: yes.

• ”On the ”Recipes" tab, recipes are created from stock products and linked to the product button. The recipe defines how much stock products are deducted from the inventory when products are sold.
• CREATING A RECIPE
• Select Add a new recipe.
• Enter the name of the recipe.
• Select Stock product and Quantity for the recipe. You will see the stock product in the base unit after the "Quantity" text in brackets.
• Click Add to recipe.
• If you want to add several stock products to a recipe: go back to step 3. and add stock products to the recipe until the recipe is ready.
• Click Save changes.
  LINKING A RECIPE TO A PRODUCT BUTTON
  Product sales will only reduce stock items if the recipe is attached to the product button being sold.
• From Solmio HQ, select the Products tab.
• Find the product you want and click Edit.
• In the product information, there is a Recipe section, which opens a menu. Find and select the recipe for your product from the menu.
• Click Save changes.
  Example: create a new recipe. Name it ”Ice cream with 1 scoop”. Add a stock product ice cream 0.1 liter. Add stock product waffle 1pc. Save changes. Go to the product list, find the product ”Ice cream with 1 scoop” and add the recipe for this product. Save changes.
