• Enter the product barcode if a barcode reader is connected to the cash register.
• Select the correct VAT rate for the product.
• Select the correct Basic Unit for the product.
• Select the correct recipe from the list if recipes h ave been created in the system. Recipes are created
from the "Stock" feature in Solmio HQ. The Stock feature is an additional service for tracking inventory
balances, importing shipments to the system, and inventorying stock items. The recipe automatically
deducts predetermined inventory items from the system after each sale. For more information, see
section 4.3 Recipes.
• If desired, you can activate Open Quantity and Price Entry by checking the boxes for those features.
These features affect the product sales process. If a product has these features enabled, the cash
register always asks for the product's quantity or price when the product is selected. This way, the
cashier can influence the final quantity and price of the product sold.
