If the screen of the payment terminal says "requesting network connection", check first:
1. Network connection working, restart network equipment if necessary
2. If this does not help, restart the payment terminal and cash register as well

Turn off the power to the terminal using the power button at the bottom left of the terminal [power/*] until the terminal turns off. While powered on, the terminal should automatically restart. If the terminal does not start, press the power button until it does.
