Application settings

The Solmio application settings allow you to configure a separate printer, receipt printing, screen orientation and daily report settings. In addition, the settings can be used to configure the reports to be printed from the cash register and the beep for closing the cash transaction. The settings also allow you to change the view of the toolbar.

  • Swipe from the left edge of the screen.
  • Select Settings from the menu.

    SEPARATE PRINTER
  • If you want to use a standalone printer, set "Use standalone printer" to active.
  • Select set printer
  • Select Current Printer
  • Choose your contact method
  • Select the printer from the list
  • You can then test print or test open the magazine
  • NOTE! Please check with your Solmio cash register reseller to see if the application supports your printer model.

    RECEIPT SETTINGS
  • Under Receipt printing, you can choose whether or not the cashier asks you to print a receipt.
  • In the Automatic receipt section, you can choose whether the cashier prints the receipt without prompting you

    DIRECTION OF THE SHOW
  • You can choose which way you want the Solmio cash register to work with the device.
  • NOTE! When you make a change you will need to restart the application.

    JOB POCKET
  • You can choose either Modern or Old style.
  • In modern style, the toolbar is located above the receipt view, behind the hamburger menu
  • In the old style, the toolbar is fully visible at the top of the receipt view.

    FORMAT OF THE DAILY REPORT
  • You can set product groups to be included in the daily report printed from the cash register by setting Include product groups in daily report to active

    SOUNDS
  • If you want the cashier to beep when the transaction is complete, select "Transaction complete" and choose the desired beep. You can try different beeps by selecting a beep and completing the transaction. If you do not wish to use the token, select "Not In Use".
    NOTE! If you have selected a sound signal but you do not hear any sound: check that your cash register has "Media" sounds enabled.

    CLEAR THE CACHE
  • Under Clear cache you can delete a transaction that is stuck in an unverified card payment that won't go away with a check.
  • NOTE! After clearing, stuck transactions are completely removed from the system

    REGISTRATION NUMBER
  • If you want the order number to be printed on the receipts, you can enable this function in the Use order numbers section.
  • Solmio-cash register creates an order number for the order which will appear on the receipt

    INFORMATION ABOUT THE APPLICATION
  • In the Support option, you can see the support number, email address and opening hours of the Solmio cashier.
  • Privacy statement option opens the Solmio® cash register for cloud-based Solmio® cash register terms and conditions
  • The Send Logs option sends the Solmio cashier technicians the cashier log data for 10 days. This function is used if there has been a problem with the cash register that requires further investigation by Solmio cashier technicians.

We also regularly check requests for support received outside office hours.

Measures taken
Most of the problems are solved by restarting the equipment.
